Benefits of Manual Lymph Drainage

Vodder Manual Lymph Drainage

MLD is a specialized, slow, gentle massage sequence created in the 1930s by Dr. Emile Vodder, a European physiotherapist, to assist in the removal of waste products in the tissue by stimulating the lymph system.  Extremely relaxing and calming, it can help to detoxify the body and greatly reduce bruising, swelling and scarring from injuries or surgeries, and has been found to be helpful with chronic and auto-immune disorders.

Lymphedema Complex Decongestive Therapy

CDT is intensive, individualized therapy designed to reduce the swelling and discomfort associated with existing, primary and post-surgical/secondary lymphedema.  It included MLD, compression bandaging and personalized instructions for self-care and daily maintenance.  (Bandaging supplies at additional cost if required).
